About La Couloumine
Le Mas La Couloumine is an ancient stone-built Catalan farmhouse, whose outbuildings have been completely renovated and equipped to luxury standard and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests each. We offer self-catering rental on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) but in low season shorter bookings are possible.
Surrounded by peach orchards with approximately 2 hectares of garden space and sitting within the heart of the plain of Roussillon, the mas has wonderful views in all directions. To the north the peak of the Forca Real and the Corbieres can be seen and to the south and west rise the chateau of Corbere looks down on us as well as the Canigou Mountain .
But despite being a haven of peace and tranquillity the mas is far from isolated. Getting to Ille-sur-Tet the nearest village, with banks, shops, bars and a supermarket is just a 5 minute drive. The bustling centre of Perpignan is only a further 20 minutes away, the Mediterranean beaches can be reached in around 30 minutes and the Pyrenees mountains some 40 minutes away.
