What does this actually mean for you as a RSTC (PADI, SSI, BSAC...) diver?
- When interested in the local wrecks keep in mind that these are all restricted to the really experienced and properly certified divers amongst you (minimum Rescue Diver with deep and wreck specialities). The wrecks lie between 35 and 45 meters deep. As a safety precaution each diver requires a lamp, a delayed surface marker buoy and a dive computer on these dives.
- All " Scuba Divers ", " Open Water Divers " and " Advanced Open Water Divers " amongst you (without a Rescue certification) will always need guidance from an instructor.
- A " Rescue Diver " can dive independently with a buddy, with at least the same level, up to a depth of 20m. For dives up to 40m you will always need guidance from an instructor. When diving independently in France a delayed surface marker buoy is required.
- A " Divemaster " can dive independently with a buddy, with at least the same level, up to a depth of 60m. We however do not dive deeper than 40 to 45 meters. When diving independently in France a delayed surface marker buoy is required.
!!!What is required in France is a medical statement, not older than 1 year, signed by a doctor proving fitness to dive!!!
!!!Futhermore, a "third party liability insurance" is required in France, but don't worry as every client of ours is automatically insured!!!
